Scooby Doo Heads East
Scooby Doo is heading to North Carolina and will become a permanent art installation for the American Museum of the House Cat. This handsome feline metal sculpture, along with Luna and Vega, are the Big Cats known as Purr Pods and the vision and creation of artist Paige Tashner for Burning Man 2019. Scooby Doo is one of three large, metal cat sculptures known as the Purr Pods. They were created for Burning Man, an annual arts and cultural experimental temporary city in Northern Nevada. Each cat (Vega, Luna and Scooby Doo) was named after the artist’s beloved kitties who have passed.
